Why learning Chinese is a waste of time.

The whole learning Chinese thing is just a gimmick and fad.

  1. Time is not worth it 5 years. You could qualify to be a lawyer, you could learn many computer coding languages, you could get your phd,
  2. China does not need you
  3. You may cross the linguistic divide, but not the cultural
  4. Why would anyone give you a job when there are so many Chinese people that speak English way better, and will have a more easier time establishing connections.  You will face an uphill competition with Chinese people or Asians.
  5. Be prepared to see an 80% reduction in salary.
  6. How much money are you really going to get from it?
  7. Most people quit

If you still want to learn Chinese despite all this. Please learn another skill emphasis on another skill.

U.S States with most illegal immigrants

There are around 12 million illegal immigrants

Illegal aliens cost U.S. taxpayers more than $100 billion each year.

Donald Trump wants to build a border wall like the one in Israel.

  1. California #1

Estimate of Undocumented Population:3,234,000

California has the largest population of immigrants without proper documentation, and also the highest percentage at  6.94%. The state provides a variety of benefits and protections to these populations. The City of Huntington Park attracted controversy when it was revealed that two members of city commissions were undocumented immigrants from Mexico.

Los Angeles

Almost 24% of all illegal aliens in America — have chosen the Golden State as their preferred domicile.

Despite its $26 billion budget deficit, the state spends $21.5 billion dollars annually subsidizing illegal alien health care, education, welfare, other state benefits and criminal justice. Every California native-born household chips in $2438 each year to help.

Unless you commit a violent felony, the state leaves you alone. Los Angeles Special Order 40 – a sanctuary policy that sets the tone statewide – prevents local officers from inquiring about your immigration status.

Many “visitors” head straight for Central Valley, which depends on a combination of immigration and irrigation to produce almost 8 percent of America’s total agricultural output. You’ll be in good company because more than half of the farm workers in California have no work authorization.

Of course don’t forget in-state tuition for illegal aliens. Take advantage of the Dream Act in a place that can only be described as the Dream State for Illegal Aliens.

Texas #2

Estimate of Undocumented Population:1,650,000

A case against Texas, stemming from the refusal to issue birth certificates for U.S.-born children, made its way to federal courts in 2015. Texas officials required specific forms of ID from the mother before issuing her child’s certificate, which immigrants without documentation could not produce.

3. New York #3

Estimate of Undocumented Population:867,000

Many immigrants without proper documentation in New York claim Asia as their area of birth. They represent 10 percent of the total undocumented population in the United States. The nightmarish plight of Asian migrants received publicity in 1993 when aship smuggling Chinese immigrants ran aground in Queens, New York. This resulted in the death of some passengers and revelations regarding the unsafe conditions of the criminal-run smuggling enterprise.

4. Florida #4

Estimate of Undocumented Population:605,000

Florida holds a significant population of Cuban immigrants. Many make the dangerous journeyacross the Florida Strait from Cuba on rafts in an attempt to secure citizenship. The United States has a special immigration policy for Cubans, informally referred to as the “wet-foot, dry-foot” policy, where those who successfully make the journey to U.S. soil can apply for legal status after one year.

5. Illinois #5

Estimate of Undocumented Population:519,000

Illinois passed legislation in 2014 that allows residents to receive kidney transplants, regardless of their legal status. The program could be financially beneficial by offsetting the cost of emergency dialysis services, which are part of a state-funded program. You won’t be asked any questions if you keep out of trouble but should you get jailed, no one will check your immigration status even when you’re in custody.

New Jersey #6

Estimate of Undocumented Population:509,000

New Jersey’s Ellis Island, a historic gateway to the United States for immigrants, processed over 12 million arrivals during its 62 years of operation. Famous Americans such as Charlie Chaplin and Cary Grant came through the immigration center.

Georgia #7

Estimate of Undocumented Population:393,000

Republican Gov. Nathan Deal came under fire in 2014 due to comments he made during a forum at the University of Georgia. He “presumed” that one of the students in the audience arrived in the country illegally as a child. Lizbeth Miranda, the student, responded: “I’m not an illegal immigrant. I’m not. I don’t know why you would have thought that I was undocumented. Was it because I look Hispanic?”

North Carolina#8

Estimate of Undocumented Population:342,000

Wildin Acosta, a North Carolina high school student and undocumented immigrant from Honduras, was arrested in 2016. Hisdeportation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement was stalled following weeks of community protests. Rep. G.K Butterfield, D-N.C., stated, “It is my hope that he will be eventually granted asylum in the United States.”

Arizona #9

Estimate of Undocumented Population:264,000

The passing of Senate Bill 1070 reflected the severity of immigration issues in Arizona. Thiscontroversial law allows police to pull over motorists on the assumption they may be in the country illegally. Most of the law’s provisions were overturned in the Supreme Court decision Arizona v. United States

10. Virginia #10

Estimate of Undocumented Population:247,000

A Virginia immigration law passed in 2007 by Prince William County required police to investigate the citizenship status of suspects under arrest. This ordinance is still in effect.

Countries with the highest Homicide rate

  1. Honduras  90.4

According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Honduras, home to about 8.25 million people, has by far the highest homicide rate of all countries in the world. Its unparalleled average rate of 90.4 murders per 100,000 people means that in this country, almost every 1,000th person is killed. Since Honduras is a popular holiday destination, tourists often targeted as victims of various violent crimes.

2. Venezuela

Located on the northern coast of South America, Venezuela has been known as one of world´s major oil exporters but also as a country with pervasive and unusually high occurrence of homicides. Last year, only 19% of local residents felt safe when walking alone at night and they had a good reason for that – every year, more than 50 people out of 100,000 are killed in Venezuela and the number has been constantly growing over the last decades. 80% of Caracas’s residents live in slums

3. Belize

With an area of 22,800 square kilometers (8,800 sq mi) and a population of about 340,000 people, Belize is the least densely populated country in Central America. But despite its amazing natural beauties and wildlife, this country is far from being a good place to live. Enormous homicide rate of almost 45 murders per 100,000 people makes Belize one of the most dangerous countries in the world. The homicides are particularly frequent in the Belize City district where, in 2007, for example, half of all that year´s murders occurred.

4. Guatemala

With a population of almost 16 million, Guatemala is the most populous country in Central America. With an average of about 100 murders committed every month, Guatemala has ranked as the country with the 5th highest homicide rate in the world. In the 1990s, for example, the city of Escuintla had an annual rate of 165 murders per 100,000 people.

5. El Salvador

Deeply affected by the long-term and devastating civil war (1979 – 1992), El Salvador is a Central American country and a home to about 6.3 million people. The extremely high homicide rate in this country is marked by significant occurrence gang-related crimes and juvenile delinquency. In 2004, for example, as much as 60% of the murders committed in Salvador were carried out by local gangs competing for power and territory.

6. Jamaica ( Most violent BMC)

Occupying an area of 11,000 square kilometers (4,250 square miles), Jamaica is another representative of the Caribbean. For many years, the country has been notorious for having one of the world´s highest homicide rates and the latest statistics by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime has confirmed that. The murders and violent crimes are particularly frequent in large cities such as Kingston, the capital.

7. Swaziland (Most violent country in Africa)

Swaziland also has a high proportion of murders relative to its small population, 33.8 per 100,000 in 2012. Voters queue to cast their votes for parliament at a voting station in Nhlangano, Swaziland, Sept. 20, 2013. (AP Photo/Mongie Zulu)

9. South Africa (Second most violent country in Africa, highest crime rate in Africa)
South Africa is still one of the most dangerous countries in the world, but it has almost halved its murder rate in recent decades. In 2012, South Africa’s homicide rate stood at 31 per 100,000 people, compared to 64.5 per 100,000 in 1995.

South Africa has the highest murder rate among countries with populations of 35 million people or more. The murder rate since 2011 stayed at around 32 per 100,000 but the number of murders has increased with increases in population. South Africa also has one of the highest rates of rape in the world. AIDS also is a concern there, and it has been reported that if a woman is raped, there is a 25 percent chance her attacker has HIV or AIDS.

Perhaps most shocking of all is that children are often rape victims in South Africa. This is believed to be a result of a myth that having sex with a virgin female cures a man of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. Some places in the country even have signs informing people that is not true.

Other crimes committed in South Africa include car hijackings and kidnapping.

10. Colombia
As Colombia struggles to end a 50-year internal conflict, the murder rate in the country remains high, at 30.8 per 100,000 in 2012.
